There's lots to be done besides fighting fires: department dispatch (which can be done from your home - we'll provide the radio, antenna, and training) office support, tool maintenance, cleaning, community outreach, fund raising ( like maybe pancake breakfasts or spaghetti dinners or your great idea), pre-fire planning (we'll show you how) - or maybe you'd like to set up our recycling. Join us at a monthly meeting, first Wednesday of each month at 6 pm at the Ivanhoe Station at Highway 152 Milemarker 9 (once the new Hanover Station is complete, meetings will go back and forth.)
