Description
City of Fruitland Park is accepting applications for both Flex Firefighter/EMT and volunteer firefighter/EMT. Process is open until filled.
Volunteer Category: Firefighter, EMT
Requirements
• Must be 18 years of age
• U.S. citizen
• Must have High School Diploma
• Must have Florida Firefighter I and II
• Must be Florida or National Registered EMT
• Must be no smoker non-user of Tobacco products for at least one year immediately preceding one year.
• Must have a valid Florida driver’s license.
• Must agree to a background check, drug, and medical screening.
• 16 Hour Evoc
Two ways to Apply see below:
1. Fill out online application (Fruitland Park web site) All applications must be filled completely and accurately.
2. Submit a copy of State firefighter 2 certificate.
3. Submit a copy of State or National Registry EMT certificate.
