Description
The Downingtown Fire Dept. is made-up of two, 100% volunteer fire companies that have served Downingtown Borough and East Caln Township since 1887.
We are actively looking for new volunteers to serve our community. If you are interested in neighbors helping neighbors, consider joining either the Alert Fire Co. No. 1 at 122 W. Pennsylvania Ave. or the Minquas Fire Co. No. 2 at 141 Wallace Ave., both stations are in Downingtown, PA 19335.

Requirements
The only requirement is that you are at least 16 years of age when you complete our Membership Application. No prior experience is necessary. We will train you and supply you with a complete set of personal protective equipment.
