Description
Lexington Fire Department is actively looking for new volunteer Firefighters and Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT's) to provide services to our citizens and visitors. With an annual call volume of nearly 3000 calls per years there is plenty of opportunities to learn and grow. Come be a part of a fast paced combination department utilizing career and volunteers working side by side to meet the needs of our community. Requirements
No experience necessary. Come try out our "Ride-Along" program to see if being a volunteer fire and rescue member is right for you. All training costs, equipment, and uniforms are provided. All you must have is the physical ability, dedication to training, and desire to serve your neighbors and friends. Members must have a physical examination by their doctor and a background investigation by the state police along with a completed application. All paperwork is available at the Lexington Fire Department at 708 South Main Street in Lexington Virginia. Stop by the station today and get a tour and pick up an application.
