Volunteers must go through a background and interview. Members are then sent to Firefighter 1 Fire Training and EMT basic training at no cost to the member. The member must complete a 1 year probation and agree to be an active member for 3 years. The member must attend monthly training and meetings unless excused. we also have a on call schedule for weekends. members are compensated for their time during training and on calls as well as on call program.
