Paid-On-Call Firefighter/EMT
The Knoxville Fire Department is taking applications for Paid-On-Call positions. This position is an entry level position for Knoxville residents that have a desire to provide an awesome service for the community. We are looking for Knoxville residents that are good natured, excellent work ethic, good morals with integrity. To be successful as a Knoxville firefighter/EMT you MUST be a good person!
We will provide the training necessary to obtain the certifications of Firefighter I and EMT. You just have to be willing to sacrifice the time and energy required to study and pass the tests. This is an opportunity to become a member of an elite team and experience the comradery of a Fire Department that is NOT experienced in any other kind of organization! This isn’t for just anyone, but if you enjoy excitement, getting your adrenaline flowing and the thrill of making a difference, then you need to come talk to us!
This position does provide a stipend for training and emergency response as well as an opportunity to work shifts, once certified, for an hourly wage.
