Description
Firefighter/EMT, all hours, all times, part time paid positions as well as volunteer. All training and certification available through local community college at no cost to candidate. All equipment and benefits provided. Retirement/Relief fund paid by department through the NC State Firemans Assoc. Benefits: Workers Comp, Association Benefits, GAP Insurance,etc. Part time paid positions require NC State Fire Certification of FF 2, EMT, Emergency Vehicle Driver. Experience pumping trucks is strongly requested or ability to attend pump certification classes.

Requirements
Volunteer positions will be provided training if you have no current certifications. Paid part time requires NC State certifications of FF2, EMT, Emergency Vehicle Driver, Class B non commercial drivers license. Other certifications will be beneficial to candidate. Physically Fit with no major health issues. Criminal Background Check from your home county and anywhere else you have resided for a period of 1 year. Good Character references. Good driving record with no major moving violations. Class B non commercial drivers license required or ability to obtain before driving department apparatus.
