Description
Must be at least 18 years old. Applicant will be required to complete, a physical, a background check including social media, and an interview.
We are looking for passionate individuals with a drive to learn new skills, help others, as well as build new relationships in the department.
All gear and training will be provided so NO previous experience is required. There are a lot of benefits to volunteering: a sense of purpose, advancement opportunities, life skills, technical and rescue skills, pride within the community, and a sense of family.

Requirements
At least 18 years old
Must complete:
Signed off Physical from Doctor
Background Check including social media
Interview
Applicants will be sent to our new member course which is a credit course at College of the Mainland (SFFMA FF1). They will be required to complete this course and pass all tests in order to be an active firefighter.
If an individual cannot pass the course OR if an applicant strictly wishes to be a support member for the fire department they can act in that capacity. Our support members are a vital role to ensuring we are able to our job and remain safe.
