Join the Lawrenceburg Fire Department and open the doors to an exciting new life experience. It takes a special person to become a volunteer firefighter. We are a diverse department seeking men and women to join our team of volunteers. We are looking for people who are eager to serve and protect the community that we live in.
Our department responds to structure fires, vehicle fires, grass & brush fires, vehicle accidents for rescue extrication, hazardous materials spills and leaks, as well as trench and collapse rescues. There is no experience necessary.

Requirements
Interested persons must meet the following qualifications:
* Must be at least 18 years old
* Complete department application and provide the required documents
* Have a High School diploma or GED
* Posses a valid Drivers License and maintain insurance on their personal vehicle.
* Must pass a background check
* Must live in Lawrenceburg or in Anderson County close enough to respond in a reasonable time.
* Attend department training and station meetings on Wednesday nights
* Must obtain the required 150 hours of training within the allotted 2 year time frame.
* Must be at least 18 years old
