Description
Looking for new volunteers to join our department. Serve your community and become part of the fire service and the "brother/sisterhood". Norway fire Department is a "Paid on call" department, compensating for the time serve your community in both emergency situations along with training

Requirements
Must be at least 16 years old with parental permission to participate in the Junior Program.
Must be 18 or older to become a full member.
Must be a resident in the Town of Norway, or in the close proximity
Must be relatively physically fit and be able to pass a background check.
Must obtain, and or start a class in Firefighter 1&2 within 2 years of service
Not all members serve in a full firefighting capacity so those not willing, certified or able to enter a burning building are welcome and will be trained to assist with other responsibilities and support roles.
