Newark Volunteer Fire Department is always seeking new volunteers for firefighters, EMTs, and Auxillary Members to support our operations and fundraising. We provide training and opportunities to obtain career certifications such as EMT and Firefighter I and II. We have one station, three apparatus, and 15 current members. Newark VT is a rural town of 581 residents and more seasonal residents. We provide EMS first response as well as fire response. Our Junior Firefighter program is open to young adults ages 14 and older.
