Description
The Tiltonsville Volunteer Fire Department, founded in 1917 located in Southeastern Ohio at the southern part of Jefferson County is currently accepting applications for people who wish to become firefighters, EMT'S, and general support members for the fire department. Running out of one (1) station and answering over 500 Fire-Rescue-EMS calls, our current roster of members with an average age of (45) forty five continually strives for excellence in training and service to our residents.
Not unlike any other volunteer fire department, our department experiences a shortage of manpower during daylight hours and in general a (50)) fifty person roster has been cut in half in the last (20) twenty years due to economics in the region.
A proud family of members we are always looking for people who can help fill the void in our manpower shortage.
