Stancliff Hose Co

328 High Street
Waterford, PA 16441
814-796-2181

Description
Stancliff Hose Company serves our friends and neighbors in Waterford Township and Borough, as well as providing assistance to our surrounding departments in southern Erie County.

Volunteering is a great way to learn valuable skills while helping your community. All the training and equipment you'll need to serve as a firefighter or EMT is provided at no charge to you by Stancliff Hose Company. Many of our members use the skills they've learned as volunteers to find employment with local EMS and paid fire agencies.

Running into burning buildings isn't for you? There are lots of other specialties in the volunteer fire service that you might enjoy - vehicle rescue, ropes and rigging, emergency medical services, search and rescue, community education....the possibilities are endless! We also need help with the day-to-day operations of the department, from fundraising to office work. If you have a hobby or interest, we have a place for you!

Volunteer Category: Firefighter, EMT, Department Support

Requirements
To be a regular member of our department, you must be 18 years old. We also have a Junior Firefighter program starting at age 16 for younger citizens who are interested in the fire service. Members should be residents of Waterford Borough or Township, but exceptions can be made for recruits who may live outside of our territory.

If you are interested in becoming a member of Stancliff Hose Company, come to the station and introduce yourself...we'd love to meet you! Our drill nights are Wednesdays at 7:00PM, and our business meetings are held on the first Wednesday of the month. If you would like to fill out an application, you can download one from our website, www.stancliffhose.org, or you can drop by during drill and we would be happy to provide you with one.
