The Bakersville Volunteer Fire Department is in need of Active Firefighters. We cover a 50+ square mile area including Hidden Valley Ski Resort. We are also first due on all fires to Seven Springs Mountain Resort. Our department handles vehicle accidents, brush fires, structure fires, hazmat incidents, traffic control, and a range of other types of calls. We average 125 calls per year. We are also looking for members that are willing to help with fundraising, and the business side of the department.
