Description
Call Force Firefighters are first responders to emergency calls in Lyman and Dayton, Maine. Call force firefighters are paid-by-the-call. They respond as needed. Firefighters perform duties such as; fire suppression, (structural and wild land), HAZMAT operations, vehicle extrication, water rescue, and many others.

Requirements
High school diploma (or equivalent), pass a criminal background check, pass a physical ability test and a reading comprehension test. Good physical condition, reside in Lyman or Dayton or within 2.5 miles of the fire station. Once hired, must meet minimum activity and regular training requirements.
