Description
Suddenly a storm breaks our unexpectedly in our area. Lightning causes a home to catch on fire, cars crash in the blinding rain, and people of all ages call for help. What would happen if no one answered the call? Who would respond to protect the lives and property of the community? Who would be there to help. Every day in our community, the Wright-Waldron Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services answers the call of our families and friends who are in need of assistance. From car crashes to heart attacks, structure fires to rescues, emergency responders are there to protect lives and property. Emergency responders are a special type of people, with many different reason for answering the call for help. Some like challenges and the adrenaline rush, while others like to sharpen their emergency skills and techniques. Regardless, everyone of them answers the call so that they can help someone in need. Today's emergency responders do far more than put out fire or bandage wounds. Emergency responders are the first line of defense in natural and man-made disasters. We respond to vehicle accidents, hazardous material incidents, and a cast array of emergency medical complaints. Becoming and emergency responder can be the most rewarding experience of your life, and allows you to reach out to someone in need. Our community is protected by dedicated and committed emergency service responders who do their jobs when called upon, even at three o'clock in the morning. Saving lives and protecting property is not an easy task. We do it willing and often without recognition. Won't you assist our community to ensure someone is there to answer the call for help.
