Description
At LaGrange Fire and Rescue we are a volunteer department that is supplemented by part time personnel. The men and women of the fire department are comprised of people from all walks of life who strive to provide a professional service to the communities they live and work in. With only a small time commitment of less than 5 hours per week average, you could become a firefighter at LaGrange Fire and Rescue.
Responding to calls for service such as field fires, structure fires, EMS assists, auto accidents, hazardous material incidents, confined space and rope rescues, and water rescues all using state of the art equipment.
From recruit school to weekly trainings, you will develop bonds that will last a lifetime. Social functions held throughout the year such as cookouts, sports events and parties will bring you and your family to the firehouse and extend to include your new brothers and sisters in the fire service.
