Description
To provide fire protection to Buchanan Township residents and businesses.
Buchanan Township Fire/Rescue is a volunteer department made up with an elite group of individuals working together to serve our community and surrounding communities when we are called. We meet 2 times a months.. the 2nd & 4th Sunday’s of the month for business meetings & truck checks and training.
We have 2 community fundraising fish fry’s a year. We hold picnics for dept. members & immediate family members,
once a Qtr we have a firefighter dinner at the station. We host a firefighter food drive for our local food bank.
And many more events.
We provide the training and equipment.

Requirements
No experience necessary we will provide the training. Must be able to attend the county fire academy which currently meets 1 time a month but is subject to change
Must be 18 years old unless enrolled in the high school course.
Must have a valid Drivers license.
Must be able to pass the state of Michigan practical & written exam.
Must give consent to a background check.
