Volunteer / paid on call Firefighter, Pelican Rapids Fire Department is City owned and serves the city of Pelican Rapids, city of Erhard, 9 townships with a total population of 9500 year round and 25,000 seasonal. we respond to all types of emergency calls, we are not medical but assist the local ambulance service when needed. the PRFD responds to around 65 -80 calls annually.
