Little Axe Fire Protection District (Little Axe Fire Department) is a rural fire protection district serving eastern unincorporated Cleveland County, Oklahoma, as well as east surrounding areas through various mutual aid agreements. We are a rapidly growing and changing department with our sights set on building a bright future for our community and our department as we continue to grow and expand services.
We are seeking to fill multiple firefighter positions with individuals willing and able to perform this vital role in our community.

Requirements
No prerequisites are required. All training and equipment is provided.
Candidates must:
-Be between 18-45 years of age with high school diploma or GED
-Be free of convictions for felonies, drugs, or domestic abuse
-Be willing to submit to random drug screenings
-Possess a valid driver's license
-Be willing to enter a burning building
-Be willing to attend training as prescribed
-Be in good physical condition
-Live within a reasonable distance of the district ( Southeast OKC Metro area, East Norman, West Pottawattamie County)
