Description
We are looking for those interested in becoming a volunteer firefighter.
Help your community, become part of a team, and enjoy the life of a volunteer firefighter.
Applicants need to be at least 18 years of age. For those under the age of 18, please consider joining our Explorer Post.
After submission of the application, an applicant will meet with the Membership Committee. As an applicant, you will be required to pass a background check, a drug test and a physical as part of the application process. All applicants will require approval of the Fire Department and the Fire District for membership.

Requirements
Being a member of the Fire Department is a manageable commitment. Members will be required to meet minimum standards for training, minimum response to emergencies and associated activities such as meetings.
Training drills and meetings are conducted once a week.
All training including initial Firefighter 1 Certification is provided to volunteers at no cost.
All equipment, gear and uniforms are provided to all volunteers.
Age 14-17 for Fire Explorers, Age 18-55+ for Firefighter
Stable work/school and personal situations
Foreseeable 3-5 year minimum commitment
Pass background, medical physical, etc.
Training drills and meetings are conducted once a week.
