You must have a high school diploma or GED, a valid NC drivers licenses, a good driving record, and a clean criminal background screening. Applicant must attend two regular training meetings (2nd Monday night each Month), turn application in, meet with the membership committee, and then voted on by the Fire Department Members. Each volunteer firefighter is required to maintain 36 hours of fire training each year.
