Description
Antioch Volunteer Fire Department covers the southwestern corner of Harris County, Georgia. Our response district covers 125 square miles including 11 miles of interstate and 18 miles of shore line. There are approximately 2,000 homes and 6 light industrial areas in the district. The department is 100 percent volunteer and operates out of 6 stations. The department currently holds an 4.0 ISO rating. The department answered 175 calls last year consisting of First Responder (EMS for additional help to county paid ambulance service) and fire. The Antioch Volunteer Fire needs you to serve in a fire fighter role or support role.

Requirements
You must be 18 years of age, a US Citizen to become a member and live within Harris County. The Antioch Volunteer Fire department has its own fire fighter training program augmented by county, state and federal courses. It is possible to earn Fire Fighter 1 , Fire Fighter 2, and First Responder Medical through our training program.
