Description
The Community Education Volunteer will lead the department's effort to provide fire, first-aid, and disaster education to the citizens of Pershing Township.
Efforts to include:
+ Lead home inspections to find and mitigate fire hazards in homes (upon request of home owner or renter)
+ Provide information regarding home fire plans to the general public
+ Attend community events to promote Fire Education
+ Lead smoke detector inspection and installation program
The Fire Prevention Director reports to the Pubic Information Officer.
