Description
As a Northwest Harris Emergency Medical First Responder. Many of our First Responders may also be Law Enforcement Officers, EMTs and Firefighters.You are often the first medically trained professionals to arrive on the scene of emergencies and accidents at which point you might be required to perform CPR, First Aid, you may perform basic lifesaving techniques on scene and continue to provide care in a variety of emergency situations, including fires, natural disasters and medical emergencies.

Requirements
To become state certified as a First Responder in Georgia;
You must be at least 18 years old.
Be in good physical condition as determined by a medical examination.
Be employed or assigned as a full-time, part-time, or volunteer firefighter at a certified fire department.
You need to hold either a High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Show good moral character.
Successfully complete the First Responder class as assigned.
You must be at least 18 years old.
