Description
The Boxford Fire Department is currently accepting applications to join our department as a call firefighter. We are looking for individuals in and around the surrounding area whom are interested in better serving their community. Boxford Fire utilizes two stations spanning across 24 square miles with 8400 residents.
If selected; the Boxford Fire Department will provide an in house educational recruit training program which will provide the essential knowledge and hands on skills necessary to perform the job. Upon completion of the recruit training program the candidate will then acquire their First Responder or EMT training prior to responding to calls.

East Call Firefighter Hours:
Monday-Friday: 4p-8a
Saturday-Sunday: All Hours
Note: Call Services are requested during weekday hours for Mutual Aid, Large scale incidents (MCI's), shift coverage, ect.
West Station: 585 Main Street Boxford MA 01921
West Call Firefighter Hours:
Monday-Sunday: All Hours

Requirements
All Applicants Must be 18+ and live within a 10 minute response to either our East or West Stations at the discretion of the Chief.
No medical condition that would prevent an applicant from fully preforming the duties of a Firefighter/First Responder/EMT
Ability to attend Monday night department trainings and respond to a minimum percentage of calls for service
Must have reliable transportation and a valid Drivers License
Willingness to attend the Massachusetts Firefighting Academy and acquire their EMT
