Description
West Feliciana Parish is protected by a Mainly Volunteer Fire Service. These dedicated women and men train to respond to more than 700 emergency calls each year. This enables West Feliciana Parish to enjoy a very competent Fire Protection Service, a Tiered EMS System, and Rescue Service for minimal costs. By demonstrating improvements in our capabilities to prevent and respond to emergencies. To Keep these Services in the Future the COMMUNITY NEEDS YOUR HELP!
The Fire Protection District must address attrition and turnover like any other organization. Firefighters, Fire Ground Support, Fire Equipment Operators, Fire Prevention Inspectors, Fire Investigations, Live - In Firefighter Programs, Rescue Techs, HAZMAT, Public Education, Juvenile Fire-Setter Interventions, Emergency Services Apprentice Programs, and Emergency Medical Services, all are needed at this time. We also offer the classes to get you up and running; if you are interested and ready to apply yourself.
