Requirements
Requirements vary widely from the most demanding physical ability and training/time requirements of an Active Duty Firefighter to the least demanding physical ability and training/time requirements of a Fire Corps member. The Department has been organized purposely to provide almost everyone with the opportunity to volunteer. All the work is necessary regardless of the position and we all joke, laugh and tease each other and look forward to our times together. The department culture of enjoying working together has developed over many years and seems to self perpetuate itself and becomes stronger the longer it is in existence. The best teams have two essentials, one is a requirement of excellence and the other is a desire for excellence. Join our team!
